Approval of Cooperative Bid Printer Supplies RFB-1579-11<br />

The Superintendent recommends that the Board of Education of the <strong>Hilton</strong> <strong>Central</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong><br />

award the bid for Printer Supplies for the period February 1, 2012 through January 31, 2013, Inc. as<br />

listed below. This is a new bid which brings the <strong>District</strong> into compliance. This bid falls within the<br />

budgeted allotment.<br />

The cooperative bid was conducted by Rose Brennan, Purchasing Agent, for Monroe 2-Orleans<br />

BOCES for six (6) participating districts. One hundred-twenty four (124) bids were obtained; twelve<br />

(12) bids were returned. The bid for Printer Supplies has been recommended for award on a line<br />

item basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder that met all required bid specifications.<br />

1. Nomination of John Abbott for the Monroe 2 Orleans BOCES Board<br />

President Wellington shared that our representative for the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Board<br />

(John Abbott) has requested to continue to serve in this capacity, which he has since 1994.<br />

2. Approval of Policy 1332 – Appointment and Duties of Claims Auditor<br />

The Superintendent recommends that the Board of Education approve Policy 1332 –<br />

Appointment and Duties of Claims Auditor and waive the first reading.<br />

3. First Reading of the Following Policies<br />

The Superintendent recommends that the Board of Education approve the following policies:<br />
