REL-K® is the innovative “Made in Italy” Electronic Knee developed<br />
by <strong>Rizzoli</strong> <strong>Ortopedia</strong> to meet the need for mobility <strong>of</strong><br />
transfemoral amputees who wish to live their life to the full without<br />
compromise.<br />
The electronic knee is equipped with innovative sensors that<br />
make it possible to measure, at a rate <strong>of</strong> 1,000 times a second,<br />
the stress exerted while walking. It implements an optimal<br />
braking control logic to permit an extraordinary adaptability<br />
to stress and to the unpredictable nature <strong>of</strong> the ground,<br />
allowing the amputee to walk in a completely fluid, safe and<br />
natural manner.<br />
