Alan and Diane Lieberman Children’s Cultural Arts Series
Celebrating its 17th season, the Alan and Diane Lieberman Children’s Cultural Arts Series has brought educational
and entertaining performances/productions to young audiences from the North Miami-Dade community. Since
its inception, the Series has served as an important introduction into the world of the arts through the medium of
music, drama, and dance, performed by national and international professional theatre companies/performing
artists. This year’s Series will continue to be offered as field trip experiences for both public and private schools in
North Miami-Dade.
In advance of the show, educators use a Study Buddy to prepare their students for their theatre experience.
A “Q &A” with cast members/performing artists concludes each program furthering the educational nature of the
Series. School groups may register for the Series by contacting Iris Kohn, Series Coordinator, at 305-932-4200, ext. 127.
To ensure that this introduction to “the world of the arts” is made available to all segments of our student
population, regardless of socio-economic background, the Series is offered free of charge with complimentary
transportation available to school groups.
