Tree Trimming Party!
Join us on Tuesday, December 1 from
7:00-8:00 p.m. for our second annual Tree
Trimming Party in the Town Center!
Holiday music, coffee and dessert will
be free for all residents in attendance.
For admission, we ask that you bring
an ornament for our community tree.
Please feel free to be creative with
your ornaments and personalize
them as you wish. We are hoping
to recreate this tradition year after
year. We are in need of some
bakers and volunteers to make this
event a success. If you are interested,

holiday right here in our own backyard!
Holiday Dinner Dance
Join us on Friday, December 4 from 6:30-10:00 p.m. in the
Town Center for our Holiday Party! Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Don’t miss out on the
famous Billie Dean and Dawn performing live on our stage.
Dinner will be catered by Southern Accents featuring the
Holiday Feast which includes Roast Turkey with Gravy, Baked
Pit Ham, Whipped Potatoes, Cornbread Stuffing, Peas and
Onions, Garden Salad, Cranberry Sauce, Rolls and Butter,
and a themed dessert. Enjoy dinner, dancing and a whole lot
of holiday cheer. Join in the fun! Limited Seating is available
$25.00 per person. Guests of VillageWalk residents are allowed
to sign up starting Monday, November 9. Please remember to
BYOB, and seating assignments accompany payment. Last
date for reservations is Wednesday, December 5. 50/50 raffle
will take place, so bring those dollar bills and your lucky charm!
Cookie Exchange
Join us in the Town Center on Monday, December 14 at
7:00 p.m. for our Community Cookie Exchange! Each attendee
should bring 3 dozen (36 treats) of one type of home-made
holiday cookie or candy (please nothing requiring refrigeration).
This is a wonderful way to meet your neighbors, get some great
recipes, and impress your friends and family with a delightful
assortment of holiday treats! $2.00 per person to cover the cost
of light refreshments and snacks. Remember to bring a container
to place your new cookies in! If we have 36 people sign up, then
everyone receives 3 of each Holiday Cookie. Please remember
to bring your recipe and we can make copies for everyone.

Muscle Car Museum Tour
Get ready all of you hot rod fans! We are
headed to Punta Gorda on Sunday, November
29 for this day of Muscle Cars and fun. We will

1:00 p.m. Muscle Car City is a 99,000 squarefoot
museum with well over 200 vintage ’50s
to early ’70s muscle cars featuring classic cars
and hot rods spanning 35 years of makes and
models. The collection boasts GM performance
cars from ’67-’70 Z-28 Camaros, ’68-’71
396 Camaros, ’64-’71 SS Chevelles, ’65-’71
SS El Caminos, ’58-’67 Big Block Impalas,
’64-’71 Pontiac GTOs, ’64-’72 Oldsmobile
442s and a huge assortment of hot rods and
antique Chevys. In addition to the museum,
you may enjoy lunch on own at the famous
Muscle Car City Diner which has old-fashioned
floats, shakes, ice cream, hamburgers and
more. Before leaving, make sure you stop in
The Memorabilia Store, which is one of the
largest stores anywhere that offers a variety of
vintage and modern automobile collectibles.
This is a great trip for the entire family! Cost
for the museum is $10.70, which can be paid
