Tree Trimming <strong>Party</strong>!<br />

Join us on Tuesday, December 1 from<br />

7:00-8:00 p.m. for our second annual Tree<br />

Trimming <strong>Party</strong> in the Town Center!<br />

Holiday music, c<strong>of</strong>fee and dessert will<br />

be free for all residents in attendance.<br />

For admission, we ask that you bring<br />

an ornament for our community tree.<br />

Please feel free to be creative with<br />

your ornaments and personalize<br />

them as you wish. We are hoping<br />

to recreate this tradition year after<br />

year. We are in need <strong>of</strong> some<br />

bakers and volunteers to make this<br />

event a success. If you are interested,<br />

today! Let’s get into the spirit <strong>of</strong> the<br />

holiday right here in our own backyard!<br />

Holiday Dinner <strong>Dance</strong><br />

Join us on Friday, December 4 from 6:30-10:00 p.m. in the<br />

Town Center for our Holiday <strong>Party</strong>! Doors open at 6:00 p.m.<br />

Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Don’t miss out on the<br />

famous Billie Dean and Dawn performing live on our stage.<br />

Dinner will be catered by Southern Accents featuring the<br />

Holiday Feast which includes Roast Turkey with Gravy, Baked<br />

Pit Ham, Whipped Potatoes, Cornbread Stuffing, Peas and<br />

Onions, Garden Salad, Cranberry Sauce, Rolls and Butter,<br />

and a themed dessert. Enjoy dinner, dancing and a whole lot<br />

<strong>of</strong> holiday cheer. Join in the fun! Limited Seating is available<br />

$25.00 per person. Guests <strong>of</strong> <strong>Village</strong><strong>Walk</strong> residents are allowed<br />

to sign up starting Monday, November 9. Please remember to<br />

BYOB, and seating assignments accompany payment. Last<br />

date for reservations is Wednesday, December 5. 50/50 raffle<br />

will take place, so bring those dollar bills and your lucky charm!<br />

Cookie Exchange<br />

Join us in the Town Center on Monday, December 14 at<br />

7:00 p.m. for our Community Cookie Exchange! Each attendee<br />

should bring 3 dozen (36 treats) <strong>of</strong> one type <strong>of</strong> home-made<br />

holiday cookie or candy (please nothing requiring refrigeration).<br />

This is a wonderful way to meet your neighbors, get some great<br />

recipes, and impress your friends and family with a delightful<br />

assortment <strong>of</strong> holiday treats! $2.00 per person to cover the cost<br />

<strong>of</strong> light refreshments and snacks. Remember to bring a container<br />

to place your new cookies in! If we have 36 people sign up, then<br />

everyone receives 3 <strong>of</strong> each Holiday Cookie. Please remember<br />

to bring your recipe and we can make copies for everyone.<br />

Muscle Car Museum Tour<br />

Get ready all <strong>of</strong> you hot rod fans! We are<br />

headed to Punta Gorda on Sunday, November<br />

29 for this day <strong>of</strong> Muscle Cars and fun. We will<br />

Chris depart - will from you drop the <strong>Village</strong><strong>Walk</strong> in your Muscle Bocce Car Courts article at<br />

1:00 p.m. Muscle Car City is a 99,000 squarefoot<br />

museum with well over 200 vintage ’50s<br />

to early ’70s muscle cars featuring classic cars<br />

and hot rods spanning 35 years <strong>of</strong> makes and<br />

models. The collection boasts GM performance<br />

cars from ’67-’70 Z-28 Camaros, ’68-’71<br />

396 Camaros, ’64-’71 SS Chevelles, ’65-’71<br />

SS El Caminos, ’58-’67 Big Block Impalas,<br />

’64-’71 Pontiac GTOs, ’64-’72 Oldsmobile<br />

442s and a huge assortment <strong>of</strong> hot rods and<br />

antique Chevys. In addition to the museum,<br />

you may enjoy lunch on own at the famous<br />

Muscle Car City Diner which has old-fashioned<br />

floats, shakes, ice cream, hamburgers and<br />

more. Before leaving, make sure you stop in<br />

The Memorabilia Store, which is one <strong>of</strong> the<br />

largest stores anywhere that <strong>of</strong>fers a variety <strong>of</strong><br />

vintage and modern automobile collectibles.<br />

This is a great trip for the entire family! Cost<br />

for the museum is $10.70, which can be paid<br />

directly at the museum. Please RSVP for this<br />
