Special Events Botanical Gardens Tour Experience the beauty of Naples at the newly renovated Botanical Gardens on Thursday, November 19 at 10:00 a.m. This guided tour will take us through two beautifully cultivated gardens --Caribbean, Brazilian, and an interactive Children’s Garden on 70 acres that reflect a profound mastery of landscape design and architecture. The garden, along with three acres of natural areas, showcases seven natural habitats unique to our area, a tropical paradise. All guests should wear appropriate shoes and clothing for an active, outdoor walk. Your day includes admission, a one-hour guided tour by an experienced garden guide, and a 10% off coupon redeemable at the Garden Gift Shop. The cost for this guided tour is $12.00 per person. Deep Sea Fishing on the Connie Jean Hop on this 31’ Contender fishing boat on Monday, November 23 rd , 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a 3/4 day fishing trip on the Connie Jean! Venturing 15 - 20 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico fishing for Grouper, Snapper, Flounder, Snook, Yellowtail and more! Your day includes: charter, rod, reel, tackle, bait, license and fish filleting. The Connie Jean also provides water and Gatorade. All other beverages (and food) is BYOB, however, a cooler with ice is provided for your convenience. This charter departs from the Cocohatchee Marina (North Naples) as the fishing from this location has proven good. The minimum for this trip is four persons and the maximum is six persons. Pricing is as follows: four persons, $125.00 each; five persons, $100.00 each; or six persons, $84.00 each. Please RSVP to the HOA Office by Monday, November 16 for this trip. Wednesday, November 25th 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The Ft. Myers Beach guided Segway tour combines the coolest personal transportation device with beautiful vistas of Estero and San Carlos Islands. Your Segway adventure begins at the Yucatan Beach Stand Bar and Grill located one half block from Times Square on Ft. Myers Beach. Following basic operational and safety instructions, riders are allowed to “warm up” (aprox.5 mins.) prior to departure. The tour leaves the Yucatan and proceeds down to Times Square. The group then travels on sidewalks and quiet side streets to Bowditch Park located at the extreme north end of Estero Island. The tour then backtracks to the Matanzas bridge, then safely proceeds down the Matanzas Bridge and heads south towards Shrimp Boat Lane and the Ft. Myers Beach shrimping fleet. Then up Main Street to Bonita Bills Waterfront Bar & Grill. Refreshments (beer, wine, soft drinks) are provided to tour patrons free of charge. The group then leaves Bonita renegotiates the Mantazas bridge and returns to the Yucatan. Contour Body Works will be coming into our Town Center to share with us some of the unique treatments they offer. Each participant will be able to try two free treatments and have a chance to win fabulous door prizes! The treatment choices are as follows: 15-minute chair massage, Mini Facial, Pulse Electro- Magnetic therapy or a Foot Detox. You may register for your treatments at time of payment. A limited number of time slots are available for each treatment. Register early. Muffins, fruit and Juice will be provided. Maximum of 20 residents for this day of beauty. New Year’s Eve 2009-2010 Putting on the Ritz Join us on Thursday, December 31 for this elegant evening at the Town Center to ring in the New Year! Get dolled up and come ready to be pampered, because this is going to be the affair of the year. Be prepared to dance the night away as DJ Joe Subin will be keeping the party going until 1:00 a.m. Your evening will begin at 8:00 p.m. with passed Hors D’oeuvres; marinated grilled Gulf shrimp, chicken salad stuffed baby bells, artichoke and spinach stuffed mushroom caps, and a display of assorted cheeses, crudites, crackers and dip. Next we will move into the ballrooms for a plated dinner which consists of baby spinach salad with mangos, macadamia nuts and dried cranberries with rolls and butter. You will enjoy a dual entree consisting of Beef Brochette (kabob of tenderloin tips with peppers, onions, and cherry tomatoes) and bronzed Mahi-Mahi with Mango Chutney, Rosemary roasted red bliss potatoes and Christian’s famous green beans.
