Hooked on Books/Book Fair
Village Walk Book Club Wednesday November 12, 2009
Hooked on Books members will gather at 12:00 p.m.
for a brown-bag lunch and to view the film “Pride and
Prejudice.” In a remote Hertfordshire village, a country
squire must marry off his five vivacious daughters.
At the heart of this all-consuming enterprise are his
headstrong second daughter, Elizabeth Bennet, and
her aristocratic suitor, Fitzwilliam Darcy, two lovers
whose pride must be humbled and prejudice dissolved
before this novel can come to its conclusion. Rosalie
Marchesani will lead the discussion following the film.
Members of Hooked on Books will be at the
November 14 country store holding their 2 nd annual
book Sale. Books and DVDs in good condition will be
gratefully accepted from the community. Contact any
member of Hooked on Books for pickup, or you may
