Major Upset
Teamwork spurs first win over GA in more than two
decades
In one of the biggest upsets in recent Episcopal history, the
boys’ swim team knocked off perennial powerhouse Germantown
Academy for the first time in more than 20 years by a
score of 102-84.
It was a complete team effort showcased with outstanding swims
by Tommy Bergstrom (50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free
Relay), Honza Dvorsky (Medley Relay, 100 Fly, 400 Free Relay),
Co-captain David Fell (Medley Relay, 100 Back, 400 Free Relay),
Co-Captain Matt Carpinello (Medley Relay, 100 Breast), Kevin
DiSilvestro (200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay), David Carpinello
(Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay), and Andrew Juliano (200 Free
Relay).

Basketball All-Time
Leading Scorer
Senior Brittany Perfetti broke the Episcopal
girls’ basketball school scoring record
at Germantown Friends this past December.
Her first basket put her past Alison
Hadden ’96, with 1,192 points. Brittany ended up
scoring 30 in the game, an Episcopal win. A first
team All-Inter Ac selection as a sophomore and junior,
Perfetti has led the team to a strong season this
year. At press time the team was 11-8 overall and 6-4
in the Inter-Ac.
