Chairman and Chief Executive
The Chief Executive was appointed by the other members of the National Council with the approval of the Secretary of State
for Business, Innovation and Skills. The other members of the National Council were appointed by the Secretary of State.
The amount of the Chief Executive’s bonus was decided by the Remuneration Committee, which reviews performance against
an annual personal responsibility plan agreed by the Chairman. The bonus was also approved by the Secretary of State.
The LSC held no contracts with a notice period greater than 12 months.
