1. Welcome and Apologies
The Chairman welcomed RCSA members and representatives from the Event Sponsor MyCareer to
the meeting. An apology from Julie Mills RCSA CEO, due to ill health, was noted.
2. Regional President’s Report 2007
Andrew Smith read the Regional President’s Report for 2007, highlighting a number of activities and
achievements for the region during the year.
• Past President and RCSA Board Director Beryl Rowan (MRCSA) awarded Life Membership
of RCSA.
• Retirement from the SA Council of Robin Tarr.
• The inaugural RCSA Career-One Recruitment Awards of Excellence held at the Advertiser
Building in March 2007.
• Regular RCSA breakfasts and other events.
• A series of OH&S breakfasts coordinated by SA Council member Greg Saunders.

• RCSA National goals and objectives, increased professional accreditation and CPD,
adherence to the Code of Professional Practice and expanding the role of RCSA as the
“Industry Voice to Government.
• Recent changes with new 457 Visa constraints.
• Expanding the programme of RCSA events for local members and continuing professional
development.
• Support and contribution of the local RCSA committee.
3. Consolidated Financial Report for the Association for the year to 30 June 2007.
A copy of the of the Consolidated Financial Report, together with the Directors’ Report and the Audit
Report were tabled and distributed to members.
4. Appointment of members of the RCSA South Australian Regional Council.
In accordance with the rules of the RCSA, the following persons were elected to the RCSA SA
Regional Council for a two year term to conclude at the 2009 Regional General Meeting.

Members noted SA Council members elected last year (2006) who were continuing in office to the
Regional General Meeting in 2008.

5. RCSA National Update.
In the absence of the RCSA CEO Julie Mills, George Lambrou presented the RCSA national update
report to members.
6. Event Sponsor and RCSA Supporter - MyCareer
Kelliann Walker from MyCareer gave a presentation on current developments and initiatives being
introduced by the organisation. The Chairman thanked representatives from MyCareer for their
attendance at the regional meeting and for their support of the association.
7. General Business
No General Business was discussed.
