Duty Diesel emissions
• NOx
• PM
– In-use emissions moderately higher than MOBILE6 projected
– Extended idle (hoteling) emissions are significant
• And projected to grow as percent of NOx inventory
– Significant speed effect
• MOBILE6 did not model any speed impacts
• Large increase in emissions at lower speeds vs. MOBILE6
– Crankcase emissions significant
