8 Religion or Spirituality On some levels it may appear that these two words religion and spirituality mean the same thing but they don’t. At least they don’t to me, but if you want to argue that they are, go read another book. Religion, any and all have one basic thing in common: Blind faith to a set of rules or dogma written by a man or men, who individuals believe was channeling the voice of God. The voice could speak any language, contradict itself, and start wars. The voice says only the faithful will be saved, but who are the true faithful. Among the various religions, their people cry for peace and war at the same time. Peace eternal to those who follow, and death and eternal sorrow for the unfaithful. All religions tell the same stories, teach the same lessons, and cast the same blame. The only difference is the names they use. These religions use the same formula which they follow endlessly and push it upon all disbelievers and believers alike. Don’t think, just listen, conform, believe, and most importantly don’t ask questions. Religion wants blind faith, obedience, and desires control of all of you. Over the years, these religions have done anything and everything to convert people. Death is never not an option. It is still being done today, if you just open and read the newspaper. Its just a matter of looking at it all without a veil of prejudice or fear over your eyes. Spirituality, how to explain it clearly and simply. It is, in a way the combination of your inner core views, with your own outer external world views, combined with the desire for the betterment of the world however you see fit. Think about it…. Your own spirituality doesn’t have to be nice and pretty. It is what you feel to be “right”. What is right, in this regard it is how you feel. How you define that term, what it means to you. If you think the world is wasteland full of cattle that needs butchering, okay. If you feel that a total cleaning of the world is needed, that is your spirituality. If you believe there is no God but yourself, then Bang you got it. If you believe in angels and demons outside of a rite or magic working then maybe you have some issues, but they
