Offering the very best optics with its integrated atoroidal inner surface. S P O R T O R - S V (ISA) Based on the Nortor design SPORTOR is specifically supplied in either a 6 or 8 base design for sports and specialist wrap design frames, and is fully compensated for high base optics. Full sports wrap, full rim and half rim glazing from Norville Gloucester using the MEI 5 axis edging facility. ULTOR (ISP) Our first high definition design progressive lens, offering the very best digitally enhanced inner surface finishing, ULTOR is an ultra modern soft design. Suited to all newer recruits to progressive design, along with patients who already benefit from this new technology. Available in designs: General - Outdoor - Desktop and benefitting from variable corridor lengths and insets. SENTOR (ISP) An inner surface progressive option, SENTOR benefits from slightly harder design criteria, much liked by traditional front surface progressive wearers. SENTOR has been introduced to aid the migration of this patient sector to the much improved optics of digital inner surface design. Available in designs: General - Outdoor and benefitting from variable corridor lengths and insets. (ISP) An inner surface progressive option, FREEWAY progressive lenses are specially engineered for driving. Average distances to objects when driving have been considered to develop a lens perfectly adapted to the actual needs of drivers. With wide distance and intermediate zones FREEWAY is the perfect driving companion. A design also highly suitable for golfers and pilots. (ISP) An inner surface occupational progressive option, BUREAU is a soft design with a comfortable transition between distances. The focusing point is really easy to find, reducing the adaptation time. Mixing expanded near & intermediate fields with soft transitions the final result is a really comfortable lens with virtually instant adaption and benefitting from a small but usable distance zone. S P O R T O R (ISP) A sports outdoor inner surface digital design progressive which incorporates ”Nordata” compensated prescriptions as standard. Get the very best cosmetics along with the great optical performance. Incorporating an extra large distance zone with reduced intermediate and near vision areas. Available in design: Outdoor Sports and benefitting from variable corridor length and inset options. (ISP) VECTOR is Norville’s entry level inner surfaced progressive lens. Ideal for traditional front surface wearers who want better optics in a familiar format at a fantastic price point. Available in design General only. (ISA+) 4 Booster New generation digital design distance single vision lens for pre-presbyopia patients 40 to 50 years. Those working for long periods at close fixed distances are only too aware that visual fatigue can set in. It has been shown that the provision of a small plus area in the lower lens field can alleviate this. Booster power portion is available in two additive powers, +037 or +062, depending on the accommodative needs of your patients.
SUPPLEMENTARY PROCESSING NORDATA Gives you the option of a fully compensated prescription, on any HD lens type. Please send the following information when you require this option: BVD measurements (showing trial and as worn distance) Pantoscopic tilt angle Dihedral (wrap) angle Norville will calculate the change to your prescription when taking all of the above into account, we will print out this “compensated prescription” at the end of the process for you to verify against. If uncut lenses are required, please supply shape, centration details and frame dimensions, in addition to above. All Sportor lenses will require this calculation to be undertaken so please supply the additional information at the time of ordering. REDUCED THICKNESS (Mid Minus and Plus) REC Available on all prescriptions including wrap designs when ordered with any HD free-form single vision or progressive lens type. RECRE allows us to reduce the edge thickness on mid to high minus – 6.00 to -14.00 standard HD lens forms anywhere from 5 to 15% in eye size from the temporal edge, reducing the edge thickness by up to 25%. This process can also be used on wrap minus lenses to reduce the temporal edge thickness which becomes more apparent when a steeper than normal front curve is used. Simply state RECRE-ESR and we will balance out the edge substance based on the prescription and overall lens size. BLENDED EDGE (High Minus) SUPER-LENTI Available as a stand alone lens type in: 1.60, 1.67 and 1.74 index up to -22.00 in both single vision and as a supplementary process on any mid/high index HD progressive up to -18.00. This process is a more intrusive lens edge blend reduction encompassing the whole circumference therefore reducing the usable viewing area to between 30 – 42 mm dependent on prescription. Norville would suggest this process is only used for higher index lens types where the minus power is in excess of – 14.00. Lens edge thickness reduction will be in excess of 30% around the circumference of the finished lens. EXTRA LARGE DIAMETER XXL Available on all HD single vision and HD progressive lens types including Sportor. This additional calculation process allows us by moving the optical centre by bodily decentring it to increase the effective diameter of a HD lens up 100mm. This process will allow you to offer much larger spectacle frames to your patients than previously considered possible and always with the correct optical centration. Of course the physics of optics does not change and the larger the lens diameter the thicker it needs to be so we suggest that you take this into account when determining the index of lens material you order. Of course you can also add RECRE- ESR into the equation as required. ISP INDIVIDUAL INSETS Available on all HD Progressives including Ultor, Sentor, Bureau, Freeway and Sportor options. Individual insets from 0.5 to 5.00 mm in each eye. So, whether you would like to increase or decrease the overall reading inset, or if you believe the patient would benefit from differing insets, please state your requirement at time of ordering. 5
