<strong>Dear</strong> <strong>Friends</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Colleagues</strong>,<br />

<strong>we</strong> <strong>are</strong> <strong>glad</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>announce</strong> <strong>that</strong> <strong>the</strong> upcoming 2007 issue of The International<br />

Newsletter for Communist Studies is about <strong>to</strong> be released. The conventional paper<br />

version will, as always, be printed as a supplement <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Jahrbuch für His<strong>to</strong>rische<br />

Kommunismusforschung, published by <strong>the</strong> Aufbau Publishing House in Berlin, which<br />

will be available in <strong>the</strong> second half of March. The unabridged online version will be<br />

put on<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> International Newsletter's <strong>we</strong>bsite at about <strong>the</strong> same time. We feel<br />

happy about <strong>the</strong> online version incorporating over 200 pages, <strong>and</strong> <strong>we</strong> would like <strong>to</strong><br />

thank everybody who made it possible through <strong>the</strong>ir contributions.<br />
