and for His church at Siler by Kate Lokash.

Come join us as we worship the risen King and the Son of the living
God.
The Presbyterian Women will again be putting Easter Lilies in the
sanctuary. Easter is Sunday, March 31st. The cost of each lily is $7.
(Checks should be made payable to the Siler PW.) Lilies may be
picked up after the 11 am service on Easter Sunday. Please place
your check in the Easter Lilies basket on the hutch in the hallway of
Huneycutt Hall. Orders must be in by March 24th.
Diane Countryman and Peggy Neill will be hosting a baby shower
for Megan Childs today at 2 pm in the fellowship hall. Megan and
David will be welcoming a new baby girl at the end of May. They
are not registered at any stores. We invite all the ladies of Siler to
come and celebrate with us.
Did you know that 30,000 people a year are diagnosed with type
one diabetes Be a hero for them and join the JDRF Walk on April
27th. I would love for you to walk with us or pray that we will find
a cure. I am a member of Siler Presbyterian Church and have been
a diabetic for eleven years now and will be walking in this fundraiser.
You can support me in raising money for this cause by going to
JDRF.org to Logan’s Lifesavers and donate to any walker or send a
check to 718 G W Broome Road, Monroe, NC 28112. Thank you

Bells and Booties will be hosting a bridal shower for Destiny Ingram
Carruth on Sunday, March 24th at 2 PM in the fellowship hall.
Destiny is registered at Target. All ladies of the church are invited

Of this offering $70 went to the building
fund. Our budget for 2013 is based on
40 weeks. We need to average an offering
of $12,700 per Sunday to meet the
budget for the year. All undesignated
offerings collected on the fourth Sunday
of each month are applied to the Building
Fund.

SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
Everyone is invited to join one of our special classes during our
Sunday school hour—9:45 AM until 10:45 AM. There is a class for
every member of your family. Toddler & Nursery classrooms are in
the Huneycutt Hall. The 3-thru 5-year-olds class is on the first floor
of the Dodd Building. K—12th Grade Classes are on the second
floor in the Dodd Building.
Locations of the adult classes: Jessie Plyler Class—First Floor
Dodd Building taught by Dona Haney/Topical Lessons from Exodus
and Psalms; Seekers Class—Fellowship Hall classroom taught
by Mike Waller/”Ecclesiastes-Understanding the Books of the Bible”;
Generation Class—Meet in the Generations classroom in the
Fellowship Building/Studying Book of Mark/newcomers are welcome;
Good News Class—Meet in a classroom in the Fellowship
Building/Studying “A Living Faith” Studies in Ephesians, Philippians

Siler Kids are going to help the Flemings, Simpsons, and
Gregor families...three local families in need that we
found out about through Union County Crisis Assistance
Ministries. The party is TONIGHT, so make sure you bring
your wrapped presents to the Fellowship Hall with names
on them by this evening at 5 PM. Kids can come at 5 PM to
decorate, and all the families will be here at 5:30 PM for supper
and the luau party!
CrisisRUN—1 Mile Fun Run, 5K, and 10K
Saturday, March 23
Union County Crisis Assistance Ministry is having a fun run
fundraiser at Wingate University. The Fun Run (cost is by
donation & fundraising) starts at 11 AM and includes a Kids
Zone and lunch! If Siler Kids raise over $1000, Elisabeth will
dye her hair the color of the highest fundraiser’s choice!
Grace Bible Camp—June 16-22
