Distribution in Slovakia The species occurs mostly<br />
in the area of the southern Slovenský kras Karst, sporadically<br />
in springs of southern part of the Volovské<br />
vrchy Mts.<br />
The species occurs in one SAC.<br />
Threats Distinct changes in water regime, interference<br />
into hydrological relationships in localities.<br />
Waste dumps in vicinities of spring areas, drainage of<br />
spring areas, use of biocides in the spring catchment<br />
area and its surroundings.<br />
Curiosities Individuals from Slovakia have often corrosion<br />
of the first whorls on the shell apex, which can<br />
distinctly distort the shell shape as a whole.<br />
