Profile of Program Director(s) Prof Lipi Das Faculty - Business Communication Lipi Das is Faculty –Business Communication at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, India .She has 15 + years of experience in Academics, Trainings & Industry. She is member of the Executive Learning, Development and Collaborative Programs and the AACSB Task Force Team for accreditation at IMT-Ghaziabad. She is currently the Program Director of the IMT-NIIT Imperia- Executive Post Graduate Program in Management (EPGPM-04). Her wide ranging experience in Soft-Skill Consulting and Training has been for organizations like Ashok Minda Group, Indian Postal Service Probationers, NHPC, BSNL, Vatika Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation, EXL, Mafoi Management Consultants. Her research and teaching interests are in the areas of Soft Skills, Business Communication and Mentorship Development. Her Corporate domain expertise comes from handling Telemarketing start-up Function, ISO Standardization of Customer Service Processes and Procedures, Team Management, Customer Relationship Management Leadership in organizations like Blue Dart Express, Modi Korea Telecom, and Thomas Nationwide Transportation Global Express Logistics and as Head- Academics –ITFT Chandigarh. Some of her notable achievements include being awarded “SILVER STAR” –Trainer of the Month at Air Hostess Academy, New Delhi. As Customer Service Manager -Thomas Nationwide Transportation -Chennai, under her supervision the Customer Service Team was awarded with “Regional High Flyer Award”. She is also a recipient of “Bravo Blue Darter” award for outstanding performance in 1995.
Dr Shalini Kalia Area Chairperson - Business Communication Dr Shalini Kalia has Master’s and Doctorate degree in English. With more than 10 years of teaching experience, other than IMT she has been associated with ICFAI Business School, BIMTECH and Graphic Era Institute of Technology (Dehradun). Her teaching, training, researching and consulting interests include Business Communication, Soft Skills, Personality Development, Corporate Etiquette etc. She is trained to administer Thomas Personal Profile Analysis and its related instruments and is also associated with British Council, New Delhi as BEC Examiner for speaking tests. Dr Kalia has co-authored three books; published many research papers, articles in various journals and newspapers; and has attended several seminars and conferences at national and international level. Dr Bhavna Bhalla Faculty - Business Communication Dr. Bhavna Bhalla is Senior Lecturer, Business Communication at Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad, India. She completed her doctorate in the year 2010 from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, with special focus on Indian Aesthetics. She has published a number of papers in refereed international journals of repute. She also has two co-authored books to her credit. With three years of experience, she has conducted a number of training sessions on communication skills, presentation skills, oral communication, corporate etiquette etc. for Reckitt Benckiser, Indian Postal Service Probationers and Group B officers, EXL Service, BSNL to name a few. She has also conducted a session for international participants at R. A. Kidwai National Postal Academy, Ghaziabad. Gradually making a mark in professional world, she has gained reputation of being an academician and an expert in the fields of Literature and Communication.
