f**k saving calories. years of dieting has brainwashed people into thinking in such a negative... fat gaining... way about food. thinking in terms of "free foods" and "syns" and thinking it's a good idea to "skip meals and save calories". if you want to get lean... this way of thinking has to STOP. so here's a little story that will hopefully help you get the difference between thinking like a lean NUTRITIONIST and thinking like a big fat DIETER. once upon a time there were two friends, saving sally and investing immy. both worked in the same job, in the same office, with the same salary. and both of them dreamed of living the high life... with a big house... a big car... and and even bigger wardrobe to store all their clothes. saving sally said... "i know what i'm going to do. i'm not going to spend any money at all. i'm going to save every last penny and put it in the bank. soon enough i'm going to save so much money i can buy my big house... big car... and even bigger wardrobe." www.<strong>rebelfit</strong>.co.uk
so sally saved and saved and saved and saved... she was so good a saving that when the bills came in she decided "i'm not going to pay my bills.... i'll save the money instead!" she didn't pay her phone bill... her electricity bill... her gas bill... or her rent. and she was so happy because she had so much money in her savings account! her dream of a big house... a big car... and an even bigger wardrobe would so be a reality!" investing immy was so upset. there was sally saving all this money. and sally was bragging about her weekly weigh-ins... i mean saving sessions.... where she was saving pounds and pounds every single week. immy had saved practically none. she had paid her phone bill... her electricity bill... her gas bill... and her mortgage. and with what little money she had left she invested in shares. when she went into the office sally kept on bragging... "check out my bank balance immy, i've saved £200 this week!!" this went on for weeks and months, until one day immy came into work and sally wasn't there. when she asked where she was, her colleague replied... "haven't you heard saving sally was made bankrupt. she stopped paying all her bills and eventually she was taken to court. she now has no money left, has been evicted from her flat and she's living on the streets." immy was gutted. www.<strong>rebelfit</strong>.co.uk
