sugary drinks in the office. alcohol in the pub. processed foods on our laps. foods that are PRE-DIGESTED and don't even need chewing. foods that deliver massive doses of sugar that ultimately get converted to FAT. so if drinking our food has caused obesity, do you really think drinking our food can cure it i don't think so. when you drink your food, you bypass all the mechanisms in your body that are designed to sense that you are feeding. the sensation of food in your mouth. the sensation of food in your stomach. the sensation of fullness and digestion. not only are these sensations pleasurable and enjoyable. but perhaps more importantly for the person trying to lose weight... these sensations are the essential cues to your brain that it is time to STOP FEEDING. if you manipulate, corrupt, or bypass these cues, you will always struggle with your appetite... always struggle with overeating... and always struggle to maintain a healthy weight. you may lose weight while you are on the milkshakes. but you will BINGE when you are off them. www.<strong>rebelfit</strong>.co.uk
the only cure i see for obesity isn't medicine... isn't technology... isn't processing the foods we eat beyond recognition. it is an acceptance that we must use... feed... and nourish our bodies as nature intended. as our evolutionary history dictated. as the body we see in the mirror has hinted. muscles for moving with intensity. mouths for eating foods naturally. brains for living our lives purposefully. but let's face it.... who wants to move, enjoy eating real food and feel fulfilled, when you can sit on your arse, drink milkshakes and feel miserable. www.<strong>rebelfit</strong>.co.uk
