FOOD CHAIN INFORMATION DECLARATION
Sheep on the holding are not under movement restrictions for other animal’s disease or public health reasons
(excluding a 6-day standstill).
All Prime Sheep sold on a Monday are guaranteed to be free from withdrawal periods for all veterinary
medicines and other treatments administered to the animals while on this holding and previous holdings.
Any Store/Breeding Sheep, sold on a Friday that are still in withdrawal periods will be declared as such, with
the following information:-

To the best of my knowledge the animals are not showing signs of any disease or condition that may affect the
safety of meat derived from them.
No analysis of samples taken from animals on the holding or other samples has shown that the animals in this
consignment may have been exposed to any disease or condition that may affect the safety of meat or to
substances likely to result in residues in meat.
I understand that my livestock sold for human consumption comply with the requirements of the Food Safety
Act 1990.

1. I agree to abide by the bio-security conditions at the market in force at the time
2. The transport carrying the stock has been subject to full C & D since last carrying stock. If I choose
not to Cleanse and Disinfect at the Market I will sign a self certification form.
3. I confirm that I will comply with all requirements of the Animal Gathering Order 2006 and agree to be
bound by the Livestock Auctioneers Association Conditions of Sale displayed within the market.
