INDIANER INUIT: DAS NORDAMERIKA FILMFESTIVAL [5]
Exclusivity, Personal Interaction, Competence, Educational
Experience, International Flair, Future-
Orientation, Investment, Potential & Perspectives
Running under the motto NO more SILENCE
the 5 th NORDAMERIKA FILMFESTIVAL takes
place from January 23 rd to 26 th , 2014 in Stuttgart,
Germany. In the TREFFPUNKT Rotebühlplatz,
Volkshochschule Stuttgart films written,
directed by, or starring Indian-Inuit will be
shown that accurately depict their unique culture
and daily life. Captivating films that are
both powerful and humorous will place the
present and past in proper context.
No More Silence stands for a colorful and sonorous
range of Native American film productions.
The movies showcase the loud and also
gentle voices and perspectives of their makers
in a self-conscious way.
We expect extraordinary guests – as always. For
the first time, we will offer an award for the
best film in every genre on the occasion of the
five-year anniversary.
INDIANER INUIT: DAS NORDAMERIKA FILMFESTIVAL is
the only film festival of it’s kind in Europe.
