7. The HeO 2 outlet gauge – indicates the pressure available to the volume tank. The<br />
reading on this gauge is the minimum volume tank pressure desired.<br />
8. The make-up gas flow light – indicates yellow when make-up gas is flowing into the<br />
volume tank.<br />
9. The make-up gas no flow light – indicates green when there is no flow through the<br />
make-up gas section.<br />
6.5.2 Thus, make-up oxygen is available from the oxygen regulator on the oxygen panel.<br />
Oxygen flows through a flow restrictor <strong>and</strong> check valve from the oxygen panel to the inlet<br />
receiver of the Reprossesing Unit.<br />
WARNING<br />
OXYGEN MAKE-UP SHOULD NEVER BE CARRIED OUT WHILE DIVING IS IN<br />
PROGRESS. THE SUPPLY-EXHAUST CROSS CONNECT SHOULD BE OPEN, AND<br />
THE BOOSTER RUNNING TO PROVIDE CIRCULATION AND MIXING THROUGH THE<br />
SYSTEM (SEE SECTION 8.3.4).<br />
6.6 Control Panel Maintenance<br />
6.6.1 Maintenance Schedule<br />
The routine maintenance required on the control panel is:<br />
Every 6 Months<br />
Check calibration of all gauges.<br />
Every Year (or as required)<br />
Dismantle <strong>and</strong> service regulators (see Sections 6.5.2).<br />
6.6.2 BPR Loader Regulator <strong>and</strong> O 2 Regulator – Maintenance <strong>and</strong> Repair<br />

WARNING<br />
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT REGULATORS AND ASSOCIATED FITTINGS, PIPES ECT.<br />
ARE KEPT FREE OF HYDROCARBONS SUCH AS GREASES OR OIL DURING<br />
ASSEMBLY. THE ONLY LUBRICANTS WHICH MAY BE USED ARE CHRISTOLUBE<br />
MCG 111 OR OTHER SUITABLE NON HYDROCARBON GREASE. FOLLOWING<br />
MAINTENANCE, IT IS DESIRABLE TO OXYGEN CLEAN ALL REGULATORS.<br />
