Accumulated moisture discharges through the unloader valves each time the booster<br />
is unloaded.<br />
Servicing:<br />
Periodically check the moisture discharge from the unloaders.<br />
Disassembly:<br />
1. Drain water from casing <strong>and</strong> disconnect pipework.<br />
2. Unbolt cooler from its brackets <strong>and</strong> remove.<br />
3. Remove moisture separator bottle.<br />
4. Unscrew moisture separator block from cooler.<br />
5. Remove end covers from cooler body.<br />
6. Check tubes for internal cleanliness <strong>and</strong> renew or clean as necessary.<br />
7. Flush out water passages removing sediment <strong>and</strong> treat any scale formation etc.<br />
8. Clean end plates <strong>and</strong> body casting taking care not to damage the sealing face.<br />
Re-assembly:<br />
1. Re-assemble in the reverse order to above fitting new gaskets where necessary.<br />
2. Header bolt tightening torque is 135 Nm (100 ft-lb).<br />
3. Refit cooler to booster.<br />
4. Ensure correct reconnection to pipework.<br />
5. Top up cooling system.<br />

9.7 Water Pump<br />
Description:<br />
Self priming water pump with a neoprene compound impeller rotating in a cast bronze<br />
body. The stainless steel shaft runs in sealed bell bearings.<br />
Data:<br />
Max. working pressure 30 psi (2.06 bar)<br />
Max. temperature 180 o F (82 o C)<br />
NOTE<br />
DO NOT use petroleum based antifreeze compounds or rust inhibiters in the cooling system, DO<br />
NOT run dry for more than 30 seconds - lack of liquid will burn the impeller.<br />
