• U.S. Visitor and Immigrant Status Indication Technology (US-VISIT) Program

• Captures fingerprints and photographs of all non-immigrant visa holders
• Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS)
• Automated Student tracking system mandated by the Illegal Immigration Reform and
Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA)
• Tracks all foreign students and exchange visitors from application to course completion
• National Security Entry Exit Registration System (NSEERS)
• Based on the authority of the Attorney General/Secretary of Homeland Security to
require special registration of certain non-immigrant aliens
• Requires port of entry registration for non-immigrants from eight (8) special interest
countries and Department of State referrals
• Required domestic registration for non-immigrants from twenty-five (25) special interest
countries
• Operation Predator
• Operation Predator is an ongoing ICE enforcement initiative to protect children from
pornographers, child prostitution rings, Internet predators, alien smugglers, human
traffickers, and other predatory criminals.
• Targets include U.S. citizens suspected of child sex crimes and non-citizen sex
offenders whose crimes make them subject to removal from the U.S.
• Since July 2003, ICE has arrested a total of 1,556 offenders
