• Since September 11, 2001, agencies in the <strong>Department</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Homeland</strong> <strong>Security</strong> have trained over 450,000 first responders,<br />
and expect to train over 700,000 by the end <strong>of</strong> the Fiscal Year<br />
• FY 02 Training<br />
• ODP – 102,590 first responders<br />
• EP&R – 242,000<br />
• FY 03 Training<br />
• ODP – 73,163 first responders<br />
• EP&R – 54,999 (Anticipating 276,000 by end <strong>of</strong> FY)<br />
• TOTAL TRAINING – At least 721,000 first responders trained by<br />
the end <strong>of</strong> FY 2003<br />
