the <strong>Department</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Homeland</strong> <strong>Security</strong>, October 1 st , 2003<br />
• FY’04 budget is over $30 billion including:<br />
• $18.6 billion for Border and Transportation <strong>Security</strong><br />
• $9.1 billion for Emergency Preparedness and Response<br />
• $839.3 million for Information Analysis and Infrastructure<br />
Protection<br />
• $918.2 million for Science and Technology<br />
• $6.8 billion for the U.S. Coast Guard<br />
• $1.14 billion for the Secret Service<br />
