Professional dental assistants need continuing<br />

education and can receive it FREE of charge with the<br />

March 4-10, 2012, is <strong>Dental</strong> Assistant Recognition<br />

Week, a week set aside to recognize the contributions<br />

of the dental assisting staff to patient care. Governor<br />

Jindal has set forth a proclamation recognizing the<br />

dental assistants and their contribution to the practice of<br />

dentistry. The ADAA website (www.dentalassistant.org)<br />

has a link to a company who has items for sale with the<br />

DARW (<strong>Dental</strong> Assistant Recognition Week) logo.<br />

There is still space available for the Round Table<br />

Learning program hosted by the <strong>Louisiana</strong> <strong>Dental</strong><br />

Assistants <strong>Association</strong>, the <strong>Louisiana</strong> <strong>Dental</strong> <strong>Association</strong><br />

and the New Orleans <strong>Dental</strong> <strong>Association</strong>. The Program will<br />

be held on Friday, April 13, 2012, from 9 a.m. to noon in<br />

the Morial Convention Center Exhibit Hall. The Program<br />

is limited to 40 participants, so reserve your spot today.<br />
