in Year 7 wins an
Apple iPad Mini!
Thanks to a competition run recently by SchoolPix
Photos, Courtney Wingrove ,7E, won herself a brand
new Apple iPad Mini. This was presented to her at
the latest Year 7 Level Assembly on Monday, 29th
April 2013, by Mr Brendan Murnane of SchoolPix.
Courtney was automatically entered into the draw
for the iPad Mini by selecting and purchasing her
school photos from SchoolPix. Her excited parents
and little sister were invited to the assembly to witness
the presentation, although Courtney was unaware of
their presence until the conclusion of the award. All of
the Year 7 students and the Learning Group teachers
were very excited about Courtney’s big win!

Students should all be in a routine of reading regularly at home.
Students also read regularly in SURFF and English.
The target for Semester 1 is to read at least three books in the
Accelerated Reader Program and successfully complete quizzes on

Accelerated Reader Progress Reports are available on-line and can be
viewed by parents at home at the following site: https://auhosted1.
renlearn.com.au/1458054. To log in, use the same username and
password as is used for netbooks and Moodle. Then select View
Reports, followed by selecting Pupil Record Report which will provide
a Reading Practice Report in PDF format. Please note that students who
work with Mr Gary Donoghue for Literacy Support do not participate
in the Accelerated Reader Program as they complete different activities
on their reading.
