Alexander B. Merriman ’49 and his
wife are still raising Christmas trees and
enjoying frequent trips to their house
in Seabrook Island, SC.

Stephen M. Fortlouis ’54 writes:
“The end of last year brought our first
two grandchildren. I retired at the end
of the year and am looking forward to
new adventures.”
David Daw ’55 writes: “I have been
successfully developing products for
the commercial, industrial and
institutional heating, ventilation and
air conditioning industry. I hold many
patents for products sold under license
worldwide.”
Ann R. Langdon ’56 writes: “I have
been working overtime as co-chair
of the 50th Anniversary Gala for the
Creative Arts Workshop where I serve
as a board member. I am also taking a
pottery class there for the first time.
Drew has cut his teaching hours at Yale
Law School but is continuing to commute
to Washington, DC where he is
Of Counsel to Morrison and Foerster
LLP. Liz is doing stand up comedy in
New York City. Allison is still living in
El Paso with her husband, Sergio and
daughter, Frida. She is the Medical
Director of Clint Clinic as well as editor
of the Texas Tech Medical School
Journal.”

Barbara Taylor Renza ’65 writes: “I will
be moving into my new home in South
Kingstown, RI this fall. My Pembroke
Welsh corgies Cari (photo above) and
Trevor have been attending dog school
in Seekonk, MA, and Franklin, MA.
They are taking agility lessons for three
upcoming agility trials in Rhode Island,
Boxborough, MA and Amherst, NH.
Cari and I also visit Hasbro Children’s
Hospital for pet therapy. Trevor loves
agility and will be entering the agility
trials as soon as he masters the weave
poles.”

Ann Lipsitt ’72 writes: “I’ve been a
special educator for twenty-nine years.
This year I became one of our school’s
literacy specialists. I draw on my Middle
School memories from my years at
Gordon and often hear my teachers’
voices in my own. I even have some
of my favorite worksheets from Mr.
Sprague in my file cabinet. I guess I
knew where I was headed back then.”
Sarah Sturges ’72 is a massage
therapist in Wyoming when she is
not on an expedition to Greenland,
Antarctica or the North Slope.

Neville Motta ’75 writes: “I am teaching
at Gordon and enjoying every
moment with Young Kindergartners.
They certainly spark the wonderful
memories I have of my early years at
Gordon. I hope to hear from some of
my 1975 classmates. Write in and send
