WHO WE ARE
American Cargo Products has been a respected manufacturer of truck bodies and recognized
as one of the leaders in product durability and customer satisfaction for over a quarter of a
century. The year 2008 proved to be a year of exciting opportunity and transition. In August
of that year, Midway Specialty Vehicles, LLC announced the integration of the existing product
lines of American Cargo into the sales mix offered by Midway. This segment became known,
simply, as American Cargo by Midway.
Midway Specialty Vehicles, LLC is in its 31st year of serving diversified industries with a wide
variety of upfitted vans, trucks, SUVs, and other specialty vehicles. Midway provides product
and service to Fortune 500 companies as well as to smaller regional and local businesses.
Midway has earned the respect and trust of major leasing companies and of Ford Motor
Company which has certified Midway as an approved upfit vendor. Designation as a Ford
ship-through location has enabled many Midway products to be sold and shipped to all 50
states under greatly reduced transportation rates.
The sharing of engineering information and processes has enhanced American Cargo’s
products while maintaining the quality and durability expected by customers. Existing and
new customers are pleased to be able to order a wide range of products from the same

PRODUCTS & SERVICES
For years, American Cargo Products has enjoyed a strong reputation for manufacturing
exceptionally high quality Parcel Delivery Van bodies mounted on Ford Cutaways. Our Parcel
Delivery Vans are built on E-350 and E-450 Cutaways in various configurations with lengths
up to 18 feet and longer. We have a great selection of pool chassis available to fit any request.
We also manufacture dry freight vans on F-350 – F-550 Super Duty Chassis Cabs and can
upfit F-650 & F-750 Super Duty with dry freight bodies ranging from 12-28 feet on
your chassis.

The American Cargo Dry Freight Body is Engineered to Withstand the Riggers of Medium
and Heavy Duty Customers. It Boasts 5” Structural Steel Long Sills, 3” Steel-beam Cross
Members, 1-1/8” Laminated Hardwood Flooring, Plastic Coated Roll-up rear door, LED
Exterior Clearance Lights, LED Stop/Turn/Tail Lights Recessed into the Powder Coated
Rear Structure & ICC Bumper. The Dry Freight is Available in Aluminum, FRP or Bonded/
Rivetless Sidewalls. With Lengths Ranging From 12’ to 26’, heights 72” -102” and Widths
90”-102” We Are Sure to Build a Body that Meets Your Customer’s Exact Needs.
fORD SCOUT
The American Cargo Scout is a Green Alternative to a Larger PDV for In-town Delivery
Routes. The Scout is Available in Lengths of 10’-12’ on a SRW or DRW Chassis and
Features a Low Bed Height with Full Step Bumper. The Scout Includes Standard Features
Such as Durable FRP Exterior, Double Narrow Rear Swing Doors with Aluminum Hinges,
LED Exterior Clearance Lights, LED Stop/Turn/Tail Lights Recessed in the Powder Coated
Rear Door Frame.
