Reading’s pool locations are capable of upfitting F-250 through F-550 Super Duty ® Chassis Cabs
and E-350 through E-450 Super Duty ® Cutaways with Reading’s full line of bodies. Cutaway Chassis
are upfitted with Reading’s Ready Van and Lo-Pro Ready Van.
Reading’s nationwide network of authorized distributors is ready to service Ford dealers and
consumers at any location.
Powder Coating
Reading’s innovative, state-of-the-art powder coating process sets the industry standard. High voltage
spray equipment adheres fine polyester particles to every surface, resulting in a smooth and durable
white finish that allows the body to withstand high levels of corrosion and protects from salt, chemicals,
humidity, scratching and impact. This coating process far surpasses conventional paint top coats.
Freight Re-entry and Ship-through
Our facility in Pontiac, Michigan is an authorized freight re-entry location. Products are placed
in Ford traffic and shipped anywhere in the United Sates at a low, fixed price, providing quality
Reading products at significantly reduced freight costs.
Our Louisville, Kentucky location offers ship through capabilities, and our Cleveland, Ohio facility is
an authorized re-entry location for Ford Cutaway Chassis (E-Series).

Reading’s Classic Hybrid Body combines recyclable aluminum construction with
an acrylic e-coat priming system and Reading’s exclusive environmentally friendly
powder coat top finish for a body that weighs 50 percent less than a steel service
body, and is virtually impervious to rust and corrosion.

than 25 years. We have the technological expertise to produce a high quality product
that saves fuel, reduces vehicle maintenance expenses, and provides greater capacity.
SL SERVICE BODY
Reading’s SL service body is the perfect complement to the Classic II . With many of
the same features as the Classic II , the SL body offers value that simply can’t be
matched. The SL body features powder coat finish paint throughout, complete stainless
steel, single-point T-handle locks, nitrogen strut door holders and Aluma-Fill ® . It also
offers Reading’s exclusive Galvannealed pressed diamond floor plate and tailgate inner
panel, providing a rugged diamond panel surface with additional corrosion protection
and better traction; two-sided zinc coated A40-A60 coating weight Galvannealed steel
construction; and acrylic E-coat priming on the bulkhead, floor, tailgate and bumper.
The SL Service Body: Priced Right, yet Value Packed.
READING DUMP BODY
This rugged body features Reading’s Exclusive Triple Protection against rust and
corrosion. Two-sided A40-A60 coating weight Galvannealed steel construction, a 12step
acrylic E-coat primer, and powder coat finish in four standard colors combine
to provide unbeatable rust and corrosion protection. Available sizes for F-350, F-450,
and F-550 Super Duty ® chassis are 60’’ and 84’’ C/A featuring a conventional half
cab shield or optional tapered half cab shield for Ford freight re-entry and ship
through capability. Standard Class C double-acting electric hydraulic scissor hoist,
Double Wall construction, Heavy Duty interlaced understructure, A60 double panel
side walls and tailgate, and convenient single lever quick release tailgate make this
body the right choice for all your hard working customers.

ALUMINUM CLASSIC SERVICE VAN (CVS)
The Classic Service Van (CVS) has many of the same outstanding features as
the Classic II service body, including hidden hinges, complete stainless steel
rotary locks, Aluma-Fill ® , and nitrogen strut door holders. It is available with the
LatchMatic ® remote locking system (with integrated alarm), compartment lighting
system, Extend-A-Shelf shelf unit, and powder coat painting. Other features include
drop down access doors at rear and two domelights in the cargo area for SW E-350
Cutaways. The CVS also features a 54” x 52 ¾ “cargo opening and smooth tapered
sides that provide a clean “billboard” area for owner-applied graphics.
All of this, plus 45 percent weight saving compared to
steel service vans.
