WHO WE ARE
General Truck Body started operations in 1919, building wooden beds on Model-T Ford
trucks. We’ve come a long way since then! General has developed a fine reputation for
providing solutions to the transportation and service industries. We have engineers on staff
in our Manufacturing Department where custom designed enclosures have become our forte.
As a manufacturer and distributor of truck equipment, all of us at General take pride in the
quality of the products we sell and the quick service we provide. We have 3 locations with
200,000 square feet of covered manufacturing and installation space, we keep a large pool of
good spec commercial trucks and vans – available for you to quickly close any deal. General

Service Bodies loaded with every convenience possible for work efficiency. General
represents Knapheide ® , Rawson-Koenig and AutoCrane service bodies. This good
looking unit features a fuel transfer tank, air compressor, welder and lift-gate.
General Truck Body also takes care of the paintwork and decals.
GOOSENECKS/fLATBEDS
Work or play, this streamlined truck is a winner! Mounted on a F-550 Super Duty ®
Crew Cab, our flatbeds and goosenecks are built tough to handle your every need.
Standard gooseneck and flatbed lengths are 9, 11, and 12 ft. with flatbeds available
up to 24 ft. Customization is our business. Let us know how we can best meet your
every requirement.
DUMP BODIES
Many sizes available. Pictured are two 3-4 yard Rugby ® dumps and two
Ford employees who sold these units as part of a much larger municipal order.
