5.3 RECRUITING TESTERS<br />

Each partner will recruit a sample <strong>of</strong> end-users for <strong>the</strong> tests <strong>the</strong>y are to execute. The final tests, with<br />

<strong>the</strong> implemented showcases, will require a representative sample <strong>of</strong> end-users, i.e., end-users<br />

representative <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> target audience group <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> developed showcase. Factors such as age, sex, <strong>and</strong><br />

previous 3D content exposure will have to be taken into account when recruiting users. The<br />

responsible partners have a catalogue <strong>of</strong> interested testers from previous evaluation tests which may<br />

be extended <strong>and</strong>/or adapted according to <strong>the</strong> needs <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> tests.<br />

For <strong>the</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essional user tests, <strong>the</strong> test c<strong>and</strong>idates will include key production personnel that will be<br />

involved in <strong>the</strong> production <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> show cases <strong>and</strong> in <strong>the</strong> development <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> broadcast test-bed. These<br />

will be mainly pr<strong>of</strong>essionals from RAI <strong>and</strong> RBB.<br />
