Aquacise – Perfect for those who want to work out<br />

in the pool offering a combin<strong>at</strong>ion of movement<br />

and aerobics.<br />

Baby Massage – Learn massage techniques for you<br />

and your baby in an informal and relaxed setting.<br />

Massage can help to promote relax<strong>at</strong>ion, help to<br />

induce a deeper and longer sleep and has also been<br />

shown to aid digestion and colic conditions.<br />

Circuits – A circuit based workout th<strong>at</strong> works <strong>at</strong><br />

improving fundamental movement skills, as well<br />

as challenging your fitness in new ways. <strong>The</strong> <strong>class</strong> is<br />

structured into 6 week blocks each with a different<br />

focus. Designed to optimise your fitness and meet<br />

your training goals.<br />

Legs, Bums & Tums – Gives you an all over body<br />

conditioning workout to tone and shape your body.<br />

Pil<strong>at</strong>es – Designed to elong<strong>at</strong>e, strengthen and<br />

restore the body to balance.<br />

Velocity – An indoor cycling program for<br />

developing cardiovascular capacity, burning up to<br />

900 calories in one 60 minute session. <strong>Peak</strong> Velocity<br />

is a favorite of those wanting to reduce body f<strong>at</strong>.<br />

Posture clinic/workshop Wednesday – <strong>The</strong> focus<br />

for this work shop is balance stability and control<br />

in rel<strong>at</strong>ion to core and posture. <strong>The</strong>se sessions will<br />

primarily use the Swiss ball as a tool to engage<br />

the core and to work proprioception.<br />

Step in Time – This is a step aerobics <strong>class</strong> which<br />

burns tons of calories with about half the impact<br />

of running and it gives your bum and legs an<br />

amazing workout.<br />

Stretch and flex – Learn the fundamental reasons<br />

to stretching in a relaxed <strong>at</strong>mosphere. <strong>The</strong>se <strong>class</strong>es<br />

prove beneficial in reducing stress, improving<br />

posture, strengthening the muscles. <strong>The</strong>y also<br />

help in improving the flexibility of the body thus<br />

enhancing the range of motion of all body parts.<br />

Tai Chi – This is a series of slow, controlled<br />

movements, developing strength, balance, posture,<br />

and calm, suitable for all ages and abilities.<br />

Yoga – Yoga postures encourage us to<br />

concentr<strong>at</strong>e on the body, bre<strong>at</strong>h and mind and<br />

promote mental and physical well-being. By gently<br />

stretching, twisting and bending, we improve<br />

flexibility in the spine, the joints and muscles of the<br />

body. <strong>The</strong> <strong>class</strong>es are designed for mixed ability.<br />

Yoga (Ashtanga) – Ashtanga or power yoga is a<br />

dynamic form of yoga th<strong>at</strong> promotes muscular<br />

strength and flexibility of body, as well as mental<br />

focus. <strong>The</strong> postures are precisely orchestr<strong>at</strong>ed to<br />

stretch and tone each of the muscles in your body.<br />

Yoga (H<strong>at</strong>ha) – can be practised by anyone<br />

<strong>at</strong> any age. It develops flexibility, tones muscles,<br />

and strengthens joints, helping to prevent,<br />

or aiding recovery from, injury. It reduces stress<br />

and tension, improves bre<strong>at</strong>hing and calms the<br />

mind. It promotes a healthier lifestyle, increasing<br />

overall mobility and well being. Classes are<br />

designed to allow you to work <strong>at</strong> your own pace;<br />

adjustments are made as required on an individual<br />

basis. <strong>The</strong>y are suitable for all levels, complete<br />

beginner, improver & expert.<br />

Yoga for pregnancy – Yoga postures are adapted<br />

to suit pregnancy and are used to strengthen, tone<br />

and relax the body. <strong>The</strong> bre<strong>at</strong>h will be the main<br />

focus of the adapted postures, with time being<br />

made to try out different relax<strong>at</strong>ion techniques.<br />
