tinwork has a unique style influenced by generations
of craftspeople. This course introduces the tools used
in traditional New Mexico tinworking. Learn punching,
cutting and embossing techniques while working
from start to finish on pieces of your own.

scented bath products In this class, you will have the
opportunity to make two guest soaps using a glycerin
base melt-and-pour method, scent and color two
two-ounce bottles of lotion, and scent and color two
four-ounce tubes of bath salts. Special heart design
molds will be available. Creativity abounds with nine
soap bases, 70 scents, 14 colors and all the herbs and
glitter you can imagine. Everthing is supplied except
for the bathtub and the sweetheart. Leslye Evans-

Barbara Rockman
Develop your skills as a poet through craft discussions,
introduction to contemporary poets, in-class
writing exercises and assignments. Participants will be
encouraged to experiment with various techniques
and forms in order to enhance their poetic voice and
vision. Become a confident critic of your own and
others’ poems while learning the tools of revision.
This class, open to poets at all levels of experience,
promises a supportive community of writers and the
creation of an expanded body of work. Barbara
Rockman has been teaching poetry in the Santa Fe
region for eight years and has an MFA in creative
writing.
