to Microsoft’s word-processing program. It covers<br />
important Microsoft Word fundamentals, including<br />
creating a document and saving it, using toolbars and<br />
the ruler bar, and moving around within a document.<br />
Formatting (font, alignment, etc.) and page setup<br />
(margins, orientation) are also covered, along with<br />
cut/copy/paste, AutoCorrect, find/replace and spell<br />
check. Students should be familiar with the Windows<br />

Reports on global climate change, ozone depletion<br />
and air quality can leave you with more questions<br />
than answers. Sound bites can be tiring. In this<br />
series, students learn what is really happening and<br />
what the current science says about global warming.<br />
Environmental problems such as the ozone hole and<br />
urban air quality and their environmental, economic<br />
and societal implications are examined. The course<br />
draws upon data from satellite measurements, recent<br />
research studies, and computer models of the climate<br />
and composition of the atmosphere. Students should<br />
have a scientific curiosity; an open mind for interpretation<br />
and discussion of data; and the ability to read<br />
