To be successful in today’s art market, photographers
must have a vision in their work. Whenever a gallery
owner, exhibition curator or art consultant reviews
your portfolio, the memory of your photographs will
only be a part of what you leave behind. It is essential
that the photographer understand the business of art.
In this comprehensive four-hour workshop, you’ll
learn how to create a successful, dynamic portfolio
that highlights your strengths and how to present it
professionally. Whether you make fine art, commercial
work or journalism, your portfolio should convey
your vision and mastery of the technical aspects of
photography. Perspective, portfolio design and selective
editing as well as tips on personal presentation
will be covered. Come with 20 to 30 samples of your
work. Diane DiRoberto is the owner of The
Darkroom, a photography studio in Santa Fe.
