Judd Bares will be in concert
at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at
the Malibu Rum Stage. The
Southwest Louisiana native
has developed a large following
with his traditional country
music vocals.

Canvas Red, an original rock group from Baton Rouge, will
be in concert at 5:45 p.m. Friday, May 11, at the Malibu
Rum Stage on the Civic Center grounds.
The trio of 33 Miles will be in concert at 8 p.m.
Thursday, May 3, at the Lake Charles Civic Center
Amphitheater. The group has a sound that immediately
engages the audience with great vocals and memorable
melodies, but the essence of what drives these
three young men is the heart of the music and the message
of God’s love and mercy.

Midnight Star will be in concert at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the Malibu Rum Stage on the
Civic Center grounds. The band’s hits include “Freak-a-Zoid,’’ “No Parking on the Dance
Floor,’’ “Slow Jam,’’ “Operator” and “Don’t Rock the Boat.”

Wooden Nickel will be in concert at 5:45 p.m. Friday, May
4, at the Malibu Rum Stage on the Civic Center grounds.
Wooden Nickel is a classic rock band that cover such
artist as ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Ted Nugent, Peter
Frampton, Joe Walsh, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Credence
Clearwater Revival and Cream. The band members are Brad
Broussard, guitar and vocals; Jude Pinson, bass and
vocals; Britt Stutes, drums and vocals; and Mark
Chapman, guitar and vocals.
Jamie Bergeron will
perform at 3 p.m.
Sunday, May 13, at the
Malibu Rum Stage on
the Civic Center
grounds.
