Subnet Management Group CLI Commands<br />

<strong>Fabric</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> Loop Test<br />

The following commands set up and perform loop test in the fabric.The Loop Test<br />

should be performed after an installation or major changes have occurred in the<br />

fabric or cluster to help validate that data is being transported as intended.<br />

• smLooptestStart – Starts the SM Loop Test in normal mode<br />

• smLooptestFastModeStart – Starts the SM Loop Test in fast mode<br />

• smLooptestStop – Stops the SM Loop Test<br />

• smLooptestInjectPackets – Injects packets into the SM Loop Test<br />

• smLooptestInjectAtNode – Injects packets to a specific switch node for the<br />

SM Loop Test<br />

• smLooptestInjectEachSweep – Injects packets on each sweep for the SM<br />

Loop Test<br />

• smLooptestPathLength – Sets the loop path length for the SM Loop Test<br />

• smLooptestMinISLRedundancy – Sets the minimum ISL redundancy in fast<br />

mode for the SM Loop Test<br />

• smLooptestShowLoopPaths – Displays the loop paths for the SM Loop Test<br />

• smLooptestShowSwitchLft – Displays a switch's LFT for the SM Loop Test<br />

• smLooptestShowTopology – Displays the topology for the SM Loop Test<br />

• smLooptestShowConfig – Displays the con figuration for the SM Loop Test<br />
