Congestion Weights<br />

The parameters shown in Table 3-27 control the weight to use for each individual<br />

counter when computing congestion, which are combined to form the<br />

Congestion count. Integrity errors can also cause congestion.<br />

• XmitDiscard is available for all devices.<br />

• XmitCongestionPct10 and XmitInefficiencyPct10 are available for<br />

<strong>QLogic</strong> QDR switches only. This is based on the deepest Virtual Lanes<br />

queue depth.<br />

• XmitWaitCongestionPct10 and XmitWaitInefficiencyPct10<br />

available for <strong>QLogic</strong> QDR and DDR Host Channel Adapters only. This is<br />

based on the time the link was idle because none of the Virtual Lanes that<br />

had data to transmit had any credits.<br />

range from 0 to 1000.<br />
