indicate more aggressive congestion<br />

PacketSize 0 Minimum packet size to mark in units of<br />

credits.<br />

CsThreshold 3 A value in the range 0 to 15. Higher values<br />

indicate more aggressive credit starvation<br />

thresholds.<br />

CsReturnDelay 0 The return delay for credit starvation.<br />

MarkingRate 0 The marking rate for switch congestion<br />

VictimMarkingEnable<br />

1 Control_Map bit0 indicates that the victim<br />

mask is valid.<br />

A value of 0 will cause marking of only<br />

sources of congestion<br />

A value of 1 will cause marking of both<br />

sources and victims of congestion<br />

Congestion Control Channel Adapter Settings<br />

Congestion Control settings are applicable to third party channel adapters. When<br />

using <strong>QLogic</strong> Host Channel Adapters, the settings for Congestion Control can be<br />

configured with the following environment variables and may require tuning for<br />

best performance:<br />

PSM_DISABLE_CCA 0<br />

PSM_CCTI_INCREMENT 1<br />

PSM_CCTI_TIMER 1<br />

PSM_CCTI_TABLE_SIZE 128<br />

The parameters in Table 3-13 control Congestion Control settings applicable to<br />

third party Channel Adapters. Default settings for a Channel Adapter are selected<br />

to provide the best congestion control for various traffic mixes but may require<br />

tuning for best performance.<br />
