Nonstick glossy finish provides easy cleanup and removal of mineral deposits
This affordable bath features a polypropylene chamber that resists corrosion
and chemical attack. Bath also features a large three-digit temperature display
and simple two-button operation. Low-level sensor automatically shuts the bath
down and sounds an alarm if the water level goes below 1" (2.5 cm).
The chamber’s wide flange extends over the top edge of the exterior to prevent

Control bath fluids as high as 100°C (60°C without cover) with ±0.2°C precision
and uniformity. Bath temperature can be read from alcohol thermometer
(included) with a range from –20 to 15°C. The steeply gabled, polycarbonate
cover accommodates glassware of varying heights and tilts out of your way
when loading or removing samples, allowing condensate to drain neatly back
into the bath.
What’s included: clear acrylic gable cover, nonhazardous-liquid partial immersion

Analog baths offer easy-to-use analog control and hydraulic thermostat ideal for fixed
set point application. Digital models feature PID control and digital temperature set

Digital Utility Baths
Easy-to-set temperature control with adjustable presets
for fast set point changes

The name says it all! StableTemp digital utility baths combine
precise temperature control and excellent temperature stability
to provide you with reliable heating for temperature-sensitive
samples.
For optimal temperature protection, these baths feature dual
thermostats—a primary microprocessor-based temperature
controller that provides ±0.1°C precision and a secondary over
temperature safety to prevent samples from overheating. For
optimal temperature accuracy, the primary controller can be
calibrated to your reference thermometer.
The stainless steel tank features rounded, easy-to-clean corners—
and is seamless, so there are no welds to leak or rust. To prevent
messy benchtops, the hinged polycarbonate lid drains condensate
directly back into the bath. Lid is steeply gabled to accommodate
a variety of different sized vessels.
Choose from five bath capacities in a variety of configurations.
The 2-liter models offer deep or shallow working depths. The
20- and 28-liter models easily convert into shaking baths using
the optional shaker platform (sold separately below).
What’s included: gabled lid, perforated stainless steel tray, and
6-ft (1.8-m) power cord with plug (US standard plug on 115 VAC

Accessories
Shaker Platforms convert your 20- or 28-liter StableTemp
bath into a shaker—allowing you to incubate and agitate
your samples simultaneously. Unique dual-action shaker
platforms provide orbital or reciprocal shaking action in
the same unit. The range of motion is adjustable from 2
to 12 mm. Shaker speed is adjustable from 30 to 180 rpm
and continually displayed on the LED. Platforms include
a 6-ft (1.8-m) power cord with plug (115 VAC models have
a US standard plug; 240 VAC models have a European
plug). If your application requires a lid, order the
specially designed shaker lid (sold separately below) to
accommodate the arms of the shaker platform.

These baths use metallic beads instead of water, delivering
exceptional temperature uniformity of ±1° without lengthy
warm-up times. Beads create a dry bath, avoiding the
contamination and maintenance of traditional water baths.
They also improve energy efficiency over 50% of traditional
water baths. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction.
Beads hold a variety of containers securely in place without any
float-away or ruined samples. You are no longer limited to watertight
containers, so you can incubate multi-well plates, petri
dishes, and open-top samples at any angle.
Metallic beads have high thermal conductivity in the range of
±180°C. Smooth, rounded surfaces measure 5 to 8 mm diameter
and 1 to 2 mm high. Beads are moisture and gas impermeable,
and are easy to keep clean without harmful germicides. These
versatile beads can also be used in a container for freezers, ovens,
and incubators.

Standard (SC) Controllers feature an LCD with temperature and set point values displayed
simultaneously in choice of °C, °F, or K at 0.1 or 0.01 resolution, fluid selection with predefined
temperature limits, and a two-speed force pump for excellent temperature uniformity and external
closed loop circulation. Additional features include five preset set point temperatures, application
temperature limits, real-time clock with on/off timer, three languages (English, French, and German),
and acoustic and visual alarms. The SC 150 models also include a USB port for serial communication.
The SC 150L has an increased immersion depth for better mixing in large, deep baths and to allow for
a lower starting level which leaves space for fluid expansion at set points above 100°C.

Thermo Scientific SAHARA Heating Open Circulating Baths
Versatile baths for routine temperature control
Each unit features a removable controller that can be rotated every 90° for easy
viewing. Modify your display by choosing from multiple languages, a temperature
resolution of 0.1 or 0.001, and a temperature display in Fahrenheit, Celsius, or Kelvin.
High-temperature acoustic and optical alarms protect samples. Transparent acrylic
baths handle temperatures to 65°C and allow you more visibility of your samples
for better control. PPO baths allow for heating to 100°C. All models have inlet/outlet
connections for external heating applications.
Standard (SC) Controllers feature an LCD with temperature and set point values
displayed simultaneously in choice of °C, °F, or K at 0.1 or 0.01 resolution, fluid
selection with predefined temperature limits, and a two-speed force pump for
excellent temperature uniformity and external closed loop circulation. Additional
features include five preset set point temperatures, application temperature limits,
real-time clock with on/off timer, three languages (English, French, and German),
and acoustic and visual alarms. The SC 150 models also include a USB port for serial
communication.
Advanced (AC) Controllers have all the same features as the SC models with a larger LCD,
plus include a powerful three-speed force/suction pump for external open and closed loop
applications. Additional features include seven languages (English, German, French, Spanish,
Italian, Chinese, and Japanese). The AC 200 models also offer one 10-step ramp program and a
USB port for serial communication (USB not included on AC 150).
What’s included: 6-ft (1.8-m) power cord with plug, M16 x 1 connection and adapters for
included 8- and 12-mm hose barb fittings with clamps for external connections.

PolyScience ® Coliform Testing Circulating Bath
Controller preset at 44.5°C complies with EPA, APHA, AWWA, and
WEF testing regulations for fecal coliform contamination testing

This circulating bath is designed specifically for fecal coliform
contamination testing, which is an indicator of E. coli microorganisms
and other pathogens. Bath is preset at a temperature of 44.5°C to
comply with the EPA Total Coliform Rule (TCR) requirement.
Lab-friendly circulating bath features the digital controller as shown
on page 9 for the PolyScience immersion circulators. This highly
intuitive, easy-to-use controller makes it simple to set commonly
used coliform test temperatures, such as 44.5°C, 45.5°C, 41.5°C, and
35.0°C, or other temperatures from ambient +10 to 135°C. Bath and
set point temperatures are simultaneously displayed on a large LCD.
For operational convenience, this bath is equipped with a tilting,
see-through polycarbonate cover which drains back into the bath
when opened. The lid is gabled to allow for taller vessels. An integral
one-speed (simplex) pump can be used to circulate the bath liquid to
other instruments using a closed-loop configuration. For added safety
and durability, the bath features a precision molded phenolic top
deck that remains cooler at high temperatures and is easily cleaned
and disinfected. A port in the top deck accommodates the optional
tap-water cooling coil. All wetted components are corrosion-resistant
stainless steel and high-performance polymer.
What’s included: perforated stainless steel sample tray, thermometer
retaining clip, and 6-ft (1.8-m) power cord with plug.

Available in multiple control level options and a variety of
tank sizes, PolyScience’s next-generation baths maintain
precise temperature control for virtually any laboratory or
process application. Advanced PID algorithms increase heat
responsiveness, eliminate set point overshoot, and ensure a
constant temperature. The chemical-resistant DuraTop top
plate remains cool at high temperatures and is easily cleaned
and disinfected. Variable-speed pump keeps the bath liquid at
a uniform temperature. Rear inlet/outlet ports also allow use in
external process applications.
Basic and Standard Digital Controllers are manufactured with
the EasyView LCD measuring 2 1 ⁄8" x 3" (5.4 x 7.6 cm). The Basic
controller reaches a maximum temperature of 135°C and has a
single-speed pump. The Standard Digital controller reaches up to
170°C and has a two-speed pump.
Performance Digital Controller utilizes SmartTouch color touchscreen
display and controls. These SmartTouch models are the
ultimate in icon-driven, user friendly operation! Simply touch the
screen to scroll through the menus, functions, and options—even
when wearing gloves. This touch-screen digital display allows
easy monitoring of both the set value and actual value. Touch and
scroll operation with visual prompts make setup and operational
changes simple and straightforward. View screen text in 11
languages. Data trending is visibly tracked on the display.
Performance Programmable Controller includes all the
Performance Digital controller features and adds unlimited time/
temperature programmability.

features as the SC models (on page 19) with a larger LCD, plus
includes a powerful three-speed force/suction pump for external
open and closed loop applications. Additional features include
seven languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian,
Chinese, and Japanese). The AC 200 models also offer one 10-step
ramp program and a USB port for serial communication (USB not
included on AC 150).
Two different controller options allow you the flexibility to choose
the right model for your requirements.
Advanced 150 Controller (AC 150) features five user settable
programs for easy recall from –28 to 150°C. Modify your display
by choosing from eight languages, temperature resolution of 0.1
or 0.01°, and temperature display in Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Kelvin.
Remote sensor and refrigeration port.
Advanced 200 Controller (AC 200) includes the same features as
the AC 150 controller, plus extended temperature range to 200°C,
USB port, and multifunction port.

These liquid circulating baths are designed to maintain precise
temperature control for laboratory and process applications.
The innovative WhisperCool environmental technology also
optimizes compressor and evaporator performance, reducing
overall energy consumption and prolonging compressor life.
Extra-large backlit digital display can be easily seen from across a
room. Waterproof control panel swivels 180°, allowing viewing at
almost any angle (except Basic controller).
Other features include an integral hood handle for easy
positioning. The front-mounted drain port and washable air filter
simplify cleaning and maintenance. Rear inlet/outlet ports also
allow use in external process applications.
Basic and Standard Digital Controllers are manufactured with
the EasyView LCD. The Basic controller reaches a maximum
temperature of 135°C and has a single-speed pump. The Standard
Digital controller reaches up to 170°C and has a two-speed pump.
Performance Digital Controller utilizes SmartTouch color
touch-screen display and controls for user friendly, icon-driven
operation. Simply touch the screen to scroll through the menus,
functions, and options—even when wearing gloves. This touchscreen
digital display allows easy monitoring of both the set
value and actual value. View screen text in 11 languages. Intuitive
communications technology allows baths to connect through a
wide range of protocols. Remote temperature sensing and control
allow precision management of external baths and devices. Data
trending is visibly tracked on the display. Force/suction pumps for
external open- and closed-loop applications.
Performance Programmable Controller includes all the
Performance Digital controller features and adds on unlimited
time/temperature programmability.

Handle process temperatures from –10 to 40°C—
ideal for many routine process cooling needs
These affordable recirculators provide you with clean, cool or warm
water without the scale buildup or the costly wastewater disposal normally
encountered with single-use tap water systems. A built-in filter cleans circulating
fluid. To optimize cooling efficiency for a particular application, recirculators
are available in a wide selection of cooling capacities, compressor sizes, and
pump types.
All feature convenient “one-touch” temperature control and bright, extra-large
LED readouts which can be read easily—even from across the room—and let
you check temperature set point and fluid flow rate and pressure with just a
quick touch. An easy-to-use calibration function allows you to adjust the unit’s
temperature display to match a traceable temperature standard. Optional
interfaces for various control functions, such as remote on/off and remote
control, are available; call for details.
For added operational safety, audible and visual alarms alert you instantly
when operating parameters—such as fluid temperature or pressure, flow rate,
or ambient temperature—exceed preset limits. User-adjustable high and low
temperature limits prevent unauthorized set point changes, plus built-in safeties
alert you to low fluid levels and thermal runaway. The turbine pump models
have an internal pressure relief valve that provides adjustable pumping pressure
from 20 to 100 psi and a front-panel gauge let you monitor pressure.
The 1 ⁄2" NPT(F) inlet/outlet ports allow hookup to a variety of external
equipment such as electron microscopes, diffusion pumps, AA furnaces, and
mass spectroscopy systems.
Note: Do not use water in recirculator. Requires use of an antifreeze type liquid
such as ethylene glycol or silicone. See bath fluids on page 31.
What’s included: male pipe adapters with barbed fittings for 1 ⁄2" ID tubing,
10 ft (3 m) of reinforced PVC tubing, and a 5-ft (1.5-m) power cord and plug

Units feature simple push-button operation with a quick-start guide to walk you through
start-up. A visual fluid indicator gives instant status of fluid level while an integrated funnel

unpack, move, and install the chiller in minutes. Unit can be operated with two sides blocked
for installation flexibility. Chillers are available with low-flow (P 1) or high-flow (P 2) positive

These solid-state units contain no refrigerant and have no
compressors—thermoelectric heat pump uses semiconductor materials
and electric current to extract thermal energy from one region and move
it to another. Air-cooled chillers utilize a system in which heat exchange
is rejected to the air. Thermoelectric chips have the ability to both heat
and cool. Variable control of chips allow chillers to operate using a very
small reservoir while maintaining high stability.
Use these compact, high-stability recirculating chillers in the lab or in
the field. Excellent for laser cooling, process cooling, field temperature
control, sample cooling, and distillation condenser. Precise temperature

These chillers are so easy to use! Just turn them on and immerse the
stainless steel probe in up to 10 liters of your fluid (3 liters for models
01283-60 and -61).
Select models 01283-60 or -61 for rapid cooling between –60 and –20°C
(not for use with fluids above –20°C). Models 01283-70 and -71 feature
larger probes and more powerful compressors than other models—ideal
for larger vessels or faster cooling. All models are designed to run at

Concentric rings can be removed from inner cover outward to accommodate
various vessel shapes and sizes

Precision concentric ring steaming baths are designed to gently warm samples, evaporate liquids,
and melt solids such as agar. Concentric rings can be removed from inner cover outward to
accommodate various vessel shapes and sizes. Four- and eight-hole models enlarge in 1" (2.5 cm)
increments from 7 /8" (2.2 cm) at the center, to a maximum opening diameter of 5" (12.5 cm) and 6"
(15 cm), respectively. Copper clad immersion heaters provide bath temperatures up to 100°C, with
three variable heat settings.
Maintain bath depth at desired level with adjustable water level regulator. Epoxy polyester-coated
steel support frame is resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel flanged cabinet top can be installed in
the benchtop providing a permanent working station. Baths must be hard-wired to the electrical
