The meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM.<br />

The minutes from the October 12, 2006 meeting were reviewed. A motion to accept the<br />
minutes was made by Sue Mago and seconded by Jean McNelly, and was passed<br />
unanimously.<br />
President’s Report – Len Hardy<br />

Len announced that Shelly Rosas’ husband Frank passed away. At one time, Shelly was the<br />
treasurer for the booster club. Flowers will be sent on behalf of the <strong>Booster</strong> <strong>Club</strong>.<br />
Len indicated that the he will be moving the website to a new provider. We are experiencing<br />
poor performance and support based upon the price we are paying. By moving to a new<br />
provider we will be saving $200/year.<br />
There are two proxies for tonight’s meeting: Robert Douglas – Fine Arts, and Nancy<br />
Lockwood-Costello – Wrestling.<br />
Athletic Director’s Report – Dan Kallenbach<br />

Dan was attending a Target meeting and may not be able to attend the meeting.<br />
Treasurer’s Report – Bob Tomsovic<br />
<br />
The General and <strong>Club</strong> budget reports were distributed.<br />

<strong>Club</strong> Reports<br />
We will again be broadcasting basketball games on WEPS, 88.9 FM. All UEC home<br />
games, boys & girls, will be broadcasted. The basketball booster club is looking for<br />
sponsors to help offset these costs. It was noted that last years radio broadcast<br />
expenses are still outstanding. Mark requested an invoice to settle this expense.<br />
Softball – Jan Heidelmeier<br />
<br />
Jan made a motion to allow Softball to spend approximately $3,000 on new varsity<br />
uniforms. Rob Douglas seconded the motion and it was unanimously approved.<br />

Fine Arts – Rob Douglas (Proxy)<br />
<br />
The craft show was a success. They have already applied $3,000 towards next year<br />
show.<br />
Rob made a motion to allow Fine Arts to donate $6,600 (Up to a maximum of $1,100<br />
per Fine Arts teacher) to the Fine Art teachers. Jan Heidelmeier seconded the<br />
motion and it was unanimously approved.<br />
Wrestling – Nancy Lockwood-Costello (Proxy)<br />
<br />
The wrestling pot luck dinner will be held on Thursday, 11/16, at 6:30 PM. There are<br />
77 members on the team this year.<br />
Golf – Kathy McKinley<br />
Kathy made a motion to allow Golf to hold their annual golf outing on June 13, 2007,<br />
at <strong>Bartlett</strong> Hills. Mark Randall seconded the motion and it was unanimously<br />
approved.<br />
Soccer – Jean McNelly<br />
<br />
The soccer club will be hosting an end of the season recognition dinner for the boys<br />
teams, on Thursday, 11/16, at the Seville restaurant.<br />
Cheerleading – Sue Mago<br />
Sue stated the cheerleaders will be selling candy canes in school on 12/13, 12/14,<br />
and 12/15. They have added 12/13 as an additional day.<br />

Sue has found some additional t-shirts that can be donated to the One Wish<br />
Program.<br />
Basketball – Mark Randall<br />

Mark stated that the top-off dinner was held on Monday and Len Hardy spoke about<br />
the booster club.<br />
Mark made a motion to allow basketball to spend $2,400 to cover the referee fees for<br />
the basketball feeder tournament. The <strong>Bartlett</strong> Park District will reimburse the<br />
booster club from the teams entry fees. Jan Heidelmeier seconded the motion and it<br />
was unanimously approved.<br />
Len discussed the <strong>Bartlett</strong> Parent Organization (BP0) and how the booster club could<br />
assist them. The BPO was to provide the following information:<br />

A decision was made to keep the BPO as a separate organization. They have<br />
determined that they have $16,000 in their financial account. Therefore, the BPO will<br />
refund the booster club for the bus money that was donated to them to cover the bus<br />
costs for the post-prom party.<br />

Len discussed the new scoreboard for the main gym. District U46 approved the<br />
selection of the vendor. The costs of the scoreboard will be covered by the BHS<br />
<strong>School</strong> administration ($8,000), BHS <strong>Booster</strong> <strong>Club</strong>, Basketball <strong>Booster</strong> <strong>Club</strong><br />
($8,000), 2006 Senior Class ($5,000), Wrestling ($1,000), and Volleyball ($1,000).<br />
Mark Randall stated that there will be 4 new scoreboards and it will take<br />
approximately 12 weeks to build the new scoreboards. There is a potential that<br />
these will be installed over the Christmas break.<br />
Mark stated that there are 6 spots for sponsorship capabilities. These can be sold to<br />
local businesses. Len stated that a committee will be formed to determine how<br />
promote this, price the sponsorships, and the terms of the agreement. It was<br />
suggested that a letter/packet be sent to all local businesses to help promote this.<br />
The old scoreboards will be given to another school.<br />
Rob Douglass motioned to adjourn the meeting. The motioned was seconded by Sue Mago and<br />
was approved unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 PM.<br />
