AFTER LANDING CHECKLIST<br />

Accomplish only when clear of the runway and stopped<br />

completely.<br />

1. STABILATOR TRIM ............................................................. N (Neutral)<br />

2. FLAPS .............................................................................. RETRACT 0°<br />

3. MIXTURE ..................................................................................... LEAN<br />

4. ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP ................................................................ OFF<br />

5. LIGHTS (except Fin Strobe) ........................................................... OFF<br />

6. PITOT HEAT .................................................................................. OFF<br />

7. TRANSPONDER .......................................................................... STBY<br />

8. AFTER LANDING CHECKLIST .......................................... COMPLETE<br />

1. STABILATOR TRIM/RUDDER TRIM N (Neutral)<br />

Set the STABILATOR TRIM to the N (Neutral) position.<br />

2. FLAPS RETRACT 0°<br />

Before changing the flap position on the ground, verify that you have the<br />

Flap Control Handle and call out, “Flaps Identified”. Wait for the IP to<br />

respond, “Flaps Verified”, then RETRACT the FLAPS the the 0° position.<br />

Visually verify that the flaps move towards and stop in the fully retracted<br />

position and call out, “Flaps Up.” Wait for the IP to respond, “Flaps Up,<br />

Verified.”<br />

3. MIXTURE LEAN<br />

Move the control for the MIXTURE aft slowly to the stop to LEAN.<br />

4. ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP OFF<br />

Depress the ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP switch to the OFF position. Check<br />

fuel pressures. A slight decrease in fuel pressure may be observed.<br />

5. LIGHTS (except Fin Strobe) OFF<br />

Adjust the LIGHTS (except the Fin Strobe) as appropriate:<br />

- Day: Turn the landing light and strobe lights OFF.<br />

- Night: Turn the strobe lights OFF. Use the landing light as<br />

necessary for taxi. Nav lights should be ON per 14 CFR Part 91.209.<br />
