DESCENT “FINAL ITEMS” CHECKLIST
Accomplish prior to 300’ AFE.
1. ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP .................................................................. ON
2. GEAR SELECTOR .................................................... DOWN/ 3 GREEN
3. MIXTURE CONTROL ................................FULL FORWARD (Full Rich)
4. PROPELLER CONTROL ........................................... FULL FORWARD
Verification not required
1. ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP ON
Verify that the ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP is ON.
2. GEAR SELECTOR DOWN/ 3 GREEN
Verify that the GEAR SELECTOR is in the DOWN position. Visually check
to confirm that the 3 GREEN indicator lights are illuminated. Call out,
“Three Green, No Red, Verify.” Wait for the IP to respond, “Gear Down,
Verified.”
WARNING
If at any time during approach to landing the “check landing
gear” aural warning sounds, the normal gear warning horn
sounds, or any abnormal landing gear indication occurs, the
pilot must execute a go-around.
3. MIXTURE CONTROL FULL FORWARD (Full Rich)
Place the MIXTURE CONTROL in the FULL FORWARD (Full Rich)
position.
4. PROPELLER CONTROL FULL FORWARD
Verify that the PROPELLER CONTROL is in the FULL FORWARD
position.
