Accomplish prior to commencing taxi.<br />

1. FUEL SELECTOR SWITCH TANKS<br />
Depress the Electric Fuel Pump switch to the ON position, and then<br />
SWITCH TANKS by placing the FUEL SELECTOR to the position<br />
corresponding to the fuel tank not selected for engine starting. Verify check<br />
that the fuel flow/pressure gauge indicates between 2.0 - 21.4 GPH/.05 - 12<br />
psi.<br />
2. RADIO MASTER SWITCH ON<br />
Depress the RADIO MASTER SWITCH to the ON position to allow<br />
electrical current to flow from the from the primary bus to the avionics bus,<br />
which includes the communications radios, navigation radios, and the<br />
transponder.<br />
3. FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS CHECK/SET<br />
Verify that the clock is operating and indicating the current time, and that<br />
the adjustable FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS are set to current, available<br />
information (as per 14 CFR Part 91.205).<br />
IFR CONSIDERATIONS<br />
For IFR flight, the pitot-static instruments must be checked and within<br />
acceptable limits before taxi. Gyroscopic instruments and the<br />
magnetic compass should be checked while turning in both directions<br />
during taxi after leaving the ramp.<br />
Pitot-Static Instruments<br />
- The Airspeed Indicator should indicate zero.<br />
- The Altimeter should be within ±75 feet of known elevation when<br />
set to the local altimeter setting (elevations are shown on airport<br />
diagrams).<br />
