ELECTRICAL OVERLOAD CHECKLIST<br />
1. BATTERY MASTER SWITCH ........................................................ OFF<br />
If ammeter indications do not decrease:<br />
2. ALTERNATOR SWITCH ................................................................ OFF<br />
3. AIRPORT ..................................................................................... LAND<br />
If ammeter indications decrease:<br />
4. BATTERY MASTER SWITCH .......................................................... ON<br />
5. AMMETER .............................................. MONITOR/BELOW 60 AMPS<br />
6. ELECTRICAL OVERLOAD CHECKLIST ............................ COMPLETE<br />
1. BATTERY MASTER SWITCH OFF<br />
Depress the BATTERY MASTER SWITCH to the OFF position prevent the<br />
battery from overheating, exploding, or igniting (fire).<br />
If ammeter indications do not decrease:<br />
2. ALTERNATOR SWITCH OFF<br />
Depress the ALTERNATOR SWITCH to the OFF position.<br />
3. AIRPORT LAND<br />
LAND at the nearest suitable AIRPORT as soon as practical.<br />
If ammeter indications decrease:<br />
4. BATTERY MASTER SWITCH ON<br />
Depress the BATTERY MASTER SWITCH to the ON position.<br />
5. AMMETER MONITOR/BELOW 60 AMPS<br />
MONITOR the operation of the operating alternator and MAINTAIN an<br />
electrical load BELOW 60 AMPS.<br />
6. ELECTRICAL OVERLOAD CHECKLIST COMPLETE<br />
Upon completion of the ELECTRICAL OVERLOAD CHECKLIST, verify that<br />
all items have been accomplished and that the <strong>checklist</strong> is COMPLETE.<br />
