GEAR UP LANDING (INTENTIONAL) CHECKLIST<br />
Ensure that all available resources have been exhausted in an<br />
effort to correct the landing gear extension problem. Refer to<br />
the <strong>ERAU</strong> Flight Operations Manual for additional guidance.<br />
If unsuccessful in extending the landing gear manually:<br />
1. AIRSPEED ................................................................................ 72 KIAS<br />
2. FLAPS .............................................................................................. 40°<br />
3. GEAR SELECTOR ............................................................................ UP<br />
4. SEATBELTS/HARNESSES .............................................................. ON<br />
Just before touchdown:<br />
5. THROTTLE ................................................................................CLOSE<br />
6. MIXTURE CONTROL .................................................... IDLE CUT-OFF<br />
7. IGNITION SWITCH ........................................................................ OFF<br />
8. BATTERY MASTER SWITCH ........................................................ OFF<br />
9. ALTERNATOR SWITCH ................................................................ OFF<br />
10. FUEL SELECTOR .......................................................................... OFF<br />
11. AIRSPEED .............................................. MINIMUM AT TOUCHDOWN<br />
12. GEAR UP LANDING CHECKLIST ..................................... COMPLETE<br />
If unsuccessful in extending the landing gear manually:<br />
1. AIRSPEED 72 KIAS<br />
Establish a stabilized approach to the runway at 72 KIAS.<br />
2. FLAPS 40°<br />
EXTEND the FLAPS to the 40° position.<br />
3. GEAR SELECTOR UP<br />
Verify that the GEAR SELECTOR is in the UP position.<br />
4. SEATBELTS/HARNESSES ON<br />
Ensure that all occupant(s’) SEATBELTS and shoulder HARNESSES, if<br />
applicable, are ON and adjusted (per 14 CFR Part 91.107).<br />
Just before touchdown:<br />
5. THROTTLE CLOSE<br />
Move the THROTTLE to the CLOSE position.<br />
