5. ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP ON<br />
Depress the ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP switch to the ON position. Check the<br />
fuel pressure. An increase in fuel pressure may be observed.<br />
6. ENGINE GAUGES CHECK<br />
CHECK the ENGINE GAUGES for any abnormal indications.<br />
7. IGNITION SWITCH CHECK L/R (BOTH)<br />
Turn the Ignition Switch key to the L (Left) and to the R (Right) positions to<br />
determine if a smoother engine operation can be achieved on either<br />
magneto. Return the Ignition Switch key to the BOTH position if no change<br />
is experienced.<br />
If satisfactory engine operation on either magneto can be obtained:<br />
8. THROTTLE REDUCE<br />
REDUCE the THROTTLE to maintain smooth engine operation.<br />
9. MIXTURE CONTROL FULL FORWARD (Full Rich)<br />
Move the MIXTURE CONTROL to the FULL FORWARD (Full Rich)<br />
position.<br />
10. AIRPORT LAND<br />
LAND at the nearest suitable AIRPORT as soon as practical.<br />
If engine roughness persists:<br />
11. AIRPORT LAND<br />
LAND at the nearest suitable AIRPORT as soon as practical.<br />
12. ENGINE ROUGHNESS CHECKLIST COMPLETE<br />
Upon completion of the ENGINE ROUGHNESS CHECKLIST, verify that all<br />
items have been accomplished and that the <strong>checklist</strong> is COMPLETE.<br />
