8. POST-FLIGHT INSPECTION ............................................. COMPLETE
9. SECURE CHECKLIST ....................................................... COMPLETE
1. LIGHTS OFF
Ensure that all interior and exterior aircraft LIGHTS (except Fin Strobe) are
OFF.
2. TRASH REMOVE
REMOVE any and all TRASH from the cabin (even if it is not yours).
3. SEATBELT (as a control lock) INSTALL
INSTALL the pilot-side SEATBELT on the control yoke to restrict freedom
of movement of the flight controls.
4. TIE-DOWNS SECURE
Install the TIE-DOWNS for the wings and tail. Use the tail tie-down to
complete tightening the chains on the wings (page 94).
NOTE
If at an outlying airport and strong winds are not expected, you
may temporarily substitute tie-downs with chocks on the nose
gear.
