pet portrait. Learn how to draw various types of<br />

colors. Bring in an image of the family pet or your<br />

your parent who is also drawing a portrait. Learn the<br />
fundamentals of the geometry of drawing a face in<br />
pencil, paints or pastels and create a lasting portrait<br />
to frame and cherish. And remember sometimes a<br />
portrait will include the things that are important to<br />
you so bring in photographs are friends other family<br />
members or pets.<br />

drawing figures in action in this fun and fantastical<br />
family workshop. Warm up by practicing drawing<br />
simple, winged characters in costumes. We will add<br />
a little glitter and bling to the magic wands and<br />
swords. Modified for all ages and skill levels.<br />

memory Did it look like the letter Y with a squirrel<br />
hole in it In this workshop, we will take a close look<br />
at trees and leaves – their structures and colors.<br />
Working from references and observing trees in<br />
the surrounding landscape, children and adults<br />
will create a finished painting on canvas board that<br />
captures the beauty of autumn trees.<br />

of clay. Traditional handbuilding techniques such as<br />
coil, slab and pinching will be taught to build figures<br />
of your family. Figures will be combined with basic<br />
forms to create whimsical candleholders.<br />

modeled drawing will be explored through gesture<br />
